  • Hey, I'm Brandon and I head up the Featured Video team here at FANDOM. There are currently a number of Featured Videos hosted on Blade Runner Wiki that we made early on in our video production process, and we don't think that those videos are up to the best quality standards that we can provide. Because of that, we're going to redo the videos from scratch.

Before we start producing the new videos, I wanted to ask you if you or anyone else from the community would be interested in reviewing the scripts that we write. That would give you the opportunity to fact check the information and give any feedback on how the scripts are written and presented, feedback that we would then incorporate into the scripts. This kind of collaboration can ensure we produce the best video possible.

Let me know if this is something you would be interested in taking part in!

  • Hello! I'm looking to contribute more here, so I was wondering if you'd be open to some suggestions I have for the Wiki that I would be more than happy to start implementing, as I'm a huge fan of the films and the original novel.

First, I think it would be beneficial to write articles from an in-universe point of view, with everything in past-tense, like how Wookieepedia does. For example: their article on Leia. All in past-tense, from an in-universe point of view, except for the 'behind the scenes' section. Since Blade Runner has a very detailed world, I think this could work really well. We do this over on the Twin Peaks Wiki I'm an admin of and I really enjoy writing articles this way.

Second, I think we could also benefit by making separate articles for literary and film versions of the characters, since in some cases, they are drastically different, and we won't have to be accounting for more than one continuity timeline per article.

So please let me know what you think! I look forward to hearing from you. :)

EDIT: In my userspace, I have made a version of the Deckard article, implementing my suggestions, to show what I have in mind: User:Special Agent Dale Cooper/Deckard

  • Hi Jedi Raven, i am ChrisN34, current admin for the Cyberpunk series wiki (Covering the classic RPG and upcoming Video Game). I Am messaging you in regards to linking wikis in a community section of the homepage. Currently on our Homepage (Located Here - http://cyberpunk.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page) we have a small community section of likeminded wikis. I Thought i would extend the offer to you as the Cyberpunk series (and the genre overall) is heavily inspired by Blade Runner.

Please let me know if you are interested in something like this, as we can link each others respective communities on the home pages.

    Thanks

    ChrisN34
